Great Olympics sacks Godwin Attram

Division One side, Great Olympics has sacked player-coach Godwin Attram for non-performance as the main reason.

Attram, 37, has struggled to replicate last two season’s impressive performance in the lower tier, having led the club to relegation last season.

Management of the club have confirmed through a press statement that they have let go of the former black stars player.

Below is the full statement from Accra Great Olympics confirming the decision to part ways with Attram:

TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT OF GODWIN ATTRAM AS HEAD COACH :

Accra, 5th June, 2018.

The Management Committee (MANCO) at a meeting yesterday resolved to relieve Godwin Attram off his role at the Club as Head Coach.

Pursuant to the decision pf the MANCO, Attram’s appointment was terminated with effect from today, Tuesday 5th June, 2018.

The termination is on grounds of poor performance and gross insubordination.

The MANCO wish to thank the Coach for his sacrifices to the Club and assures of settling any entitlements due him within a month.
