‘Gov’t has failed us’; this is what the street is saying – Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has urged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to work hard to ease the burden on the ordinary Ghanaian because the youth say times are hard.

According to him, Ghanaian youth are unhappy with the economic hardship in the country.

In a Facebook post, the multiple award-wining artiste said “Remember when the youth rise there is no stopping cuz everybody is saying it loud now ..” Chale money no deh” “the system hard “ my job spoil “ this government has failed us” Yes this is what the street is saying and anyone who will comment and say am lying is a damn liar himself ..Mr president stand up !!!”

Shatta Wale posted this shortly after he arrived in the country from his European tour.

While performing in London, the Gringo hitmaker described Ghana as a village.

Shatta Wale has a huge fan base he refers to as Shatta Movement (SM) made up of mostly the youth.

In a recent video, he called on politicians to sit up and focus on issues relevant to the development of the country and the youth.
