Government releases official portraits of President Mahama, Prof Naana Jane

The Office of the President has officially unveiled the portrait of President John Dramani Mahama.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Acting Spokesperson of the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

It described the portrait as embodying the essence of Mahama’s commitment to the people of Ghana, emphasising that it serves as a symbol of national pride and unity, reflecting the values and aspirations of the country.

“The portrait captures the essence of President Mahama’s leadership and commitment to the people of Ghana. It will serve as a symbol of national pride and unity, reflecting the values and aspirations of our great nation,” it noted.

The Office of the President clarified that the government has not engaged any company or individual to produce framed versions of the official portrait for bulk distribution.

“Ministries, Departments, Agencies, private businesses and companies, and the general public are kindly informed that the Government has not and will
not contract any company or individual to produce framed pictures of the official portrait in bulk for distribution”, it added.

Also, the government has released the official portrait of the Vice President, Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
