Government open schools effective today.

The president revealed during his 11th address to the state regarding measures taken by the government against the spread of coronavirus that, schools will be opened, starting tomorrow June 15th.

He stated that the decision to include the educational sector as part of the institutions cleared for operation after the restrictions were based on due advice.

According to him, the final year SHS and tertiary students will start from tomorrow, followed by the junior classes in subsequent weeks.

He, however, indicated that the wearing of face mask on campus is compulsory and also advised for the various precautionary measures to be observed.
