Girl 7, found dead in uncovered manhole at Ashaiman

A 7-year-old girl, Luwisa Saah, has been found dead in an uncovered Manhole at Ashaiman Lebano Zone 5 in the Greater Accra Region.

Father of the deceased, James Saah, who said Luwisa happens to be his firstborn, revealed the sad incident happened when his daughter went to play with her friends after school.

He added that Luwisa’s slippers were found closer to the uncovered manhole during a search after there was no sign of her arrival to the house.

The family later discovered Luwisa’s dead body in the manhole.

The father disclosed the case has been reported to the Ashaiman Police for further investigations into his daughter’s death while her body is in the mortuary awaiting burial on Saturday.
