Ghana’s Richard Ofori listed among available keepers for Barcelona after Ter Stergen’s injury

Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been shortlisted among a long list of keepers available for Barcelona on a free transfer following the injury of Marc-André ter Stegen.

Barcelona are in search of an immediate replacement for Ter Stegen, who suffered a long-term injury in their win over Villarreal.

The Spanish side has the option of signing one of the 12 free-agent goalkeepers available, which includes Ofori.

Other notable names on the list include Keylor Navas, Loris Karius, and Sergio Rico.

Meanwhile, Richard Ofori is reportedly on the verge of a move to the South African side AmaZulu.

Ofori has not been in action since January 2024, when he featured in Ghana’s 2-2 draw against Mozambique in the 2023 AFCON. He was released by Orlando Pirates after the end of the 2023/2024 season.
