Ghana’s Felicity Asantewaa is the newest GWR holder for the most cars washed by an individual

A young Ghanaian lady, Felicity Asantewaa, has secured the current Guinness World Record for the ‘most cars washed by an individual’ in eight hours.

Her achievement of washing 60 cars in Accra on March 9, 2024, earned her this prestigious accolade, surpassing the previous record by five cars, as documented on the official Guinness World Records website.

It can be recalled that Felicity Asantewaa gained widespread attention when she undertook a ‘wash-car-a-thon’ challenge on March 9, 2024, at the East Legon Executive Club premises.

Her determination and skill drew crowds of supporters who witnessed her remarkable accomplishment.

Driven by a passion to empower young women in Ghana, promote gender equality, and highlight opportunities available to them, Felicity chose to pursue the record-breaking feat.

Her initiative coincided with Afua Owusu Asantewaa Aduonum’s attempt to set a record for the longest singing marathon by an individual, showcasing a wave of inspiring achievements within the Ghanaian community.
