Ghanaian TikTok Star Killer Ntua Recounts Enduring Four Real Slaps for Early Skit Success

Ghanaian TikTok sensation Killer Ntua has revealed the painful, yet hilarious, behind-the-scenes story of how his early foray into skit-making required him to take four hard slaps to achieve comedic authenticity.

Speaking candidly on The Delay Show, the popular content creator shared insights into his journey in the booming TikTok industry. Killer Ntua explained that after completing senior high school, he formed a close friendship with Last Hero, who has since become his regular collaborator. At that time, Last Hero was struggling to make ends meet by selling fried rice, a venture he eventually abandoned for lottery sales after suffering significant losses.

“When TikTok became popular in Ghana, people encouraged me to get into content because they knew I was funny,” Killer Ntua recounted. “I really liked Last Hero and always went to him to eat because he also liked me. One day, I told him I had a content idea, that he should give me about four slaps like a soldier,” he stated, detailing the origins of one of their breakthrough skits.

He emphasized his commitment to making the video as genuinely funny and impactful as possible, even if it meant enduring real pain. “If I didn’t feel the slap well, I told him to hit me again until it came out right,” he narrated with a laugh, highlighting the dedication they poured into their early work.

At the nascent stage of their content creation, resources were scarce. They often had to borrow phones just to shoot their videos. However, their unwavering commitment and unique approach gradually began to yield results.

Their initial TikTok account garnered a significant following, reaching 27,000 followers, before disaster struck. The account was unexpectedly hacked, forcing the duo to start from scratch. “We had to start all over again. Life was very difficult,” he added, recalling the immense challenge of rebuilding their online presence.

Despite this setback, Killer Ntua noted that their second attempt proved to be a turning point. Their subsequent account eventually provided them with the long-awaited breakthrough, solidifying their position as rising stars in Ghana’s digital comedy scene. Their story underscores the perseverance and unconventional methods often employed by content creators striving for virality and recognition in the competitive online space.
