Ghanaian pornographic website shut down after owner arrested

The Cybercrime Unit of the Ghana Police Service has shut down a Ghanaian owned pornographic website, empressleak.com, and has arrested the owner of the website, Anderson Ofosuhene Anim popularly known as Mario Gee, My News Ghana has gathered.

In an operation by the Ghana Police Service, all computers, mobile phones, and internet equipment used in publications of sexual content such as leaked photos and videos were impounded.

According to the Cybercrime Unit of the Ghana Police Service, the arrest was made based on reports of extortion and blackmail by the owner of the website, Anderson Ofosuhene Anim popularly known as Mario Gee.

The said website is a very popular one in Ghana providing sexual content to pornographic lovers especially publishing sex tapes and leaks of individuals whose videos and photos pop up online.

The website has been running for over 5 years now.
