The Ghana Armed Forces have announced plans to carry out a live-firing exercise aimed at evaluating the military’s preparedness to respond to potential external threats. The exercise will involve multiple units and will take place in designated military training areas.

According to the Ministry of Defence, this routine exercise is designed to enhance operational readiness and test the effectiveness of military strategies under simulated combat conditions. It will also assess coordination among various branches of the armed forces.

The public has been advised not to be alarmed by the sounds of gunfire or explosions during the scheduled period. Authorities have confirmed that comprehensive safety measures will be implemented to protect both military personnel and civilians.
