GES postpones 2020/2021 academic year for Basic Schs&SHS to Jan 2021

The Ghana Education Service (GES) according to the President of Ghana has postponed the 2020/2021 academic year to January 2021.

This was made known by the President of Ghana in his 16th address to the country.

This according to the President is to ensure that the Service works on proper adjustments is made to the curriculum to ensure that nothing is lost from the forfeited year.

He indicated that relevant dispositions will also be made so that the presence, at the same time, in school of all streams of students, can occur in safety.

Meanwhile, second-year students in Senior and Junior High Schools are expected to return to school on October five and will stay for 10 weeks.
