Emmanuel Adebayor and Funny Face are back together

Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has revealed that Togo legend Emmanuel Adebayor has agreed to amend his strained relationship with comic actor Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, affectionately known as Funny Face.

Gyan made the revelation in a lengthy celebratory message on X to Funny Face who turns 43 years old today, October 1, 2024.

The former Sunderland striker acknowledged Adebayor accepting to be supportive again of the actor.

“Somebody help me wish the man on a mission @funnyfacegh a very big happy birthday. We really fought a good fight behind the scenes, and here we are now. Big thank you to my lovely brother Baffour Gyan who also fought well to make this happen. Lastly, to my brother from another mother, @e_adebayor, for accepting to be there for our brother. Happy Birthday once again, my brother. Enjoy your day.”

Funny Face broke his relationship with Adebayor after making certain distasteful utterances and actions during a period when he was suffering from a mental disorder.

However, their friendship seems to have been revived after Asamoah Gyan stepped in on behalf of the actor.

Asamoah Gyan shares a good relationship with Funny Face and has been a firm supporter of the actor in all aspects in recent times.
