Ga West/North Council of Zango chiefs call on Osu Mantse

The Ga West and North Council of Zango Chiefs has paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Osu Nii Okwi  Kinka Dowuona VI.
The visit by the the council to the Osu Mantse Palace on Wednesday, September 26th, this year, was to officially invite the Osu Mantse who doubles as the President of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs to the council’s annual anniversary celebration.
The Anniversary is slotted for Saturday, 29th, September this year at the Amasaman Park a suburb of Accra.
Addressing his guests, Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI, advised the council to help promote the Ghanaian culture in most of their activities and empower the Zongo youth.
He further advised council to forge ahead with unity to enhance development in the area they rule adding that there is the need for chiefs to come together to fight for one aim which is development.
He advise the Council not to allow themselves to be use by any political party, individual or any Chief to fight among themselves rather focus on their aims and objective by promoting and ensuring that the country continue to enjoy the peaceful coexistence with others.
The Ga West and North Council of Zango Chiefs, in a brief interview with the media, reiterated that the anniversary will promote Ghanaian culture of various tribes and groups from the Zango and the three Northern Regions as well as some display of Ga Culture.
The visit according to the Public Relations Officer of the council, Sarki Abdul Kadiri Ahmed Abdul-Kadiri would deepen the relations between them and the Osu Mantse.
The PRO on behalf of the Council expressed gratitude to the Paramount Chief for the warm reception giving to them and called on the Osu Mantse to honor their invitation and make it to the anniversary celebration this Saturday.
