Frank Lampard sacked as Chealsea Manager

Chelsea Footbal Club manager Frank Lampard has been sacked as manager of Chelsea FC. Lampard managed the Blues for 84 games, winning 44 but also losing 25.

The club released a statement saying: “This has been a very difficult decision, and not one that the owner and the Board have taken lightly.

The statement continues: “We are grateful to Frank for what he has achieved in his time as Head Coach of the Club. However, recent results and performances have not met the Club’s expectations, leaving the Club mid-table without any clear path to sustained improvement.”

While the end of his tenure was bleak, watching a club legend like Super Frank fail has been a bitter pill to swallow for Chelsea fans.

We wish Frank Lampard the best for his future but the Blues need to focus on bringing in the right man to salvage the season and take us beyond.
