Former Savings and Loans worker at Adum-Kumasi allegedly dies in Ukraine

Isaac Aboagye Mensah, a former savings and loan worker at Adum Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, has allegedly passed away in Ukraine after leaving his job to join the Russian army.

Reports obtained by EDHUB stated that after Isaac’s trip from Qatar during the 2022 World Cup, he traveled to Russia and later informed his family that he wanted to join the Russian army with some other Ghanaians.

He maintained regular communication with his family until it abruptly stopped.

A Ghanaian colleague of Isaac in the same unit confirmed his death and explained that he died on the battlefield due to the shock of war victims.

His colleague mentioned that he had already been buried.

The family is still in denial of his death as they have not seen his body despite not hearing from Isaac for seven months.

The family is desperately seeking assistance from relevant authorities to confirm the information provided by their son’s colleague.

In a WhatsApp voice message, Isaac mentioned that his hand hurts but he is preparing for training, as indicated by EDHUB.
