Former OTEC and FOX FM media personality Mmrantiehene is dead
The sad news reached filasconews.com indicates that, a popular media personality with Kumasi based Sompa FM has kicked the bucket.
The veteran and the popular media personality, Mmrantiehene Yeboah Afari ‘Ketekyew’ affectionately known as ‘Man 88’, according to the reports gathered by this portal died this morning, Saturday, September 17, 2022.
Checks by Filasconews.com has unearthed that, his death has been communicated to his colleagues at Sompa on their social media platforms including the staffs WhatsApp group.
His death comes as a shock to the ink fraternity especially Kumasi media.
Mmerantiehene officially joined newly-established Kumasi-based Sompa FM after leaving Fox FM.
Having spent barely nine years at Fox FM, Man 88’ joined other top radio presenters at the Suame-based station as part of a crack core of presenters to ensure the station finds its feet.
He was the host of the station’s social, religious and family ties evening programme from 7pm to 10pm each weekday.
Previously, Mmrantiehene worked with OTEC FM, New Mercury before joining Fox FM in 2013.
