Speaker approves NIB’s request to meet A Plus, Mustapha Ussif

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has approved a meeting between the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) and two Members of Parliament (MPs) in relation to an ongoing investigation.

A statement signed by the Clerk to Parliament, Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, revealed that the MPs are Mustapha Ussif, representing Yagaba Kubori, and Kwame Asare, popularly known as A Plus, representing Gomoa Central.

The meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and will take place in the Sir Emmanuel Charles Quist Conference Room at the Office of the Speaker.

The statement further indicated that the meeting will be conducted under specific conditions, advising both MPs to have their legal representatives present.

Additionally, Parliament has instructed NIB officials to coordinate with the Legal Services Office upon their arrival.
