The people of karachi Nchumburu Constituency in the Volta Region of Ghana has lament bitterly over the bed road and the collapsing of Zongo Macheri bridge.
Yesterday a car had an accident on the bridge and a tree has also break and cross the bridge. It is very difficult for heavy trucks to pass.
The people at the seen disclosed to hot FM Volta regional correspondent mark sandow that, they always leave fear and panic when they about to embark  on journey from Zongo macheri to Dambai.
It is 1hours drive but because of the poor state of it, 3 hour 30 minutes are wasted on their way before reaching their destination, which is something terrible, the government should come to their aid.
The most unfortunate aspect of it is that  the formal president and this highway authorities awarded the road on a contract but when the sitting government came he stop the contraction of the road and abandoned it.
The road is in bed condition now, no more moving of cars and motorcycles.
They added that not only the Zongo macheri to damabai road but most of the road in the district.
They said majority of their resources and farm produced from the  Volta part to the southern part of Ghana pass through that road before reaching Kumasi, Accra and beyond.
 They said, they are very disappointed in NPP government because per what they are going through is a clear indication that Nana Addo and his government has abandoned and reject the people of Karachi Nchumburu.
They called on him to come and fix the road and the Zongo macheri bridge to stop more accident happen again.
