Fight Against Covid-19: MP’s Hospital Supports Health facilities in Effiduase-Asokore with Ghc 20,000

The Affable and development oriented Member of Parliament for the good people of Effiduase-Asokore constituency in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Hon Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye has exemplified his benevolence attitude again to all health Facilities within the Sekyere East District.

 

The St. John’s Hospital and Fertility center, a health facility founded by Dr. Nana Ayew at its board meeting decided to support the government in providing good health services to natives within the district. The board of the health facility unanimously agreed to lend an assistance to the Efiduase Asokore Constituency as part of the measures to stop COVID-19 in the district.

 

On Monday, 20th April 2020, Hon. Dr. Ayew, the destiny Changer as affectionately preferred to be called by the Constituents in the Effiduase-Asokore Constituency in carrying out his health facility board’s decision led the health facility to donate an amount worth Ghc 20,000 to all Health Facilities within the Efiduase-Asokore Constituency. This, he said is for the purpose to relieve the burdens of the health facilities during this COVID-19 pandemic era.

 

This is not the only form of assistance that the Hon MP has led his health facility to assist his constituents. He had earlier on made donations of some essential items like hand Sanitizers, tissues, Veronica Buckets, et al to Communities and health facilities within the Constituency to an amount worth over Ghc 30,000.

 

Speaking to the media after the donations, the kind hearted legislator Said “It would be very important and impeccable to provide moral and community support for the health workers, So my Wife and I, together with the board of our fertility clinic as part of our social responsibility, and also as part of private public partnership to support government agreed to donate Ghc 20,000 cash to all health facilities within the Effiduase-Asokore Constituency”.

 

 

This donation received a palpable welcoming address by Dr Justice Ofori Amoah, the District Director of Health for the Sekyere East District who in resolute commended Dr Nana Ayew Afriye for his kindness towards the Directorate as done always. He further added that the donation is timely because all other things have become opportunity cost to the fight against COVID-19 in the District. He further added that this donation will indeed help support their activities to enhance the standard of Health care delivery within the District.

 

A Constituent by name Eric Asamoah, realizing the massive and unflinching support rendered by Hon Dr. Nana Ayew to his Constituency, called on all well meaning people from the Effiduase-Asokore area to emulate the good works of the affable legislator during these trying times.

 

 

Apart from the Affable legislator and District Director of Health, other dignitaries that graced the Occasion were the Medical Suppretendant of Effiduase Government Hospital Dr Antwi Agyen, A representative from Amadiya Hospital in Asokore, Representative from all health facilities in the district, Constituency Executives, et al.
