FIFA asks Iran to explain death sentence of Iranian footballer Amir Nasr-Azadani
According to the reports, the International Governing Body of the Football Association (FIFA), on Tuesday, demanded an explanation about the death sentence of 26-year-old former football player for Iran’s national youth team, Amir Nasr-Azadani, who was ordered to be hanged to death by the Iranian regime just because the footballer added his voice to campaign for women’s rights in Iran.
FIFA twitted; “FIFPRO is shocked and sickened by reports that professional footballer Amir Nasr-Azadani faces execution in Iran after campaigning for women’s rights and basic freedom in his country.”
