Fetish priestess arrested in Kasoa murder granted bail

The Fetish priestess arrested in connection with the murder of 10-year old Ishmeal Mensah Abdallah has been granted bail.

The Eastern Region Police Command on Wednesday 7th April 2021 arrested a fetish priestess, Charity Mensah, and one Desmond for their roles in the Murder of Ishmeal.

Speaking to Kaakyire Ofori Ayim on Atinka AM Drive, Head of Public Relations of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Juliana Obeng, noted that the fetish priestess has been granted bail but will be called in for questioning when the need be.

She added that the other suspect, Desmond is still in Police custody assisting investigations.

The two teenagers have been remanded in custody after appearing before a court last Tuesday .

DSP Juliana Obeng also called on the general Public to exercise patience and allow the Police carry out its investigations.
