Fella was only invited to answer questions – Manager debunks arrest reports

Manager of actress Fella Makafui, Richmond Amofa Sarpong has debunked reports suggesting she has been arrested for selling illegal products.

According to him, Fella was just invited to answer some questions on some of her products which are still undergoing registration.

The actress is said to have presented all needed documentation including her license from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice along with details of her FDA-registered products.

Richmond Amofa Sarpong made this known in a post shared via social media.

He said: “Please disregard the reports about Actress Fella Makafui’s arrest. She was invited yesterday and departed soon after respectfully honouring the invitation.

“She shared all necessary information about the subject matter to Assit the investigation and presented her license from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice along with details of her FDA-registered products.

“Additionally, she provided information on the few products still undergoing the registration process,” he stressed.

Reports were rife on May 23, 2024, that Fella Makafui had been arrested by the Pharmacy Council and the Food and Drugs Authority for selling illegal products.
