Father of 4 with two-week-old baby dies in freak accident at Kasoa

A motorcyclist identified as Gyasi Emmanuel died following a tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Kasoa-Ofankor in the Central Region.

According to reports, the deceased lost control and landed on the roof of a building at a junction near his home, with his motorbike becoming lodged on the rooftop while he was flung to the ground below.

Gyasi was subsequently rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital at Kasoa, where he was pronounced dead.

The deceased is said to have been a father of four, with his eldest child aged 10 years and the youngest birthed by his wife just two weeks ago.

There has been no official statement from the Ghana Police Statement on the incident.
