Fatal shooting in Tepa-Baniekrom: Fetish Priest on the run after killing 3

A fetish priest, identified as Osman Majeed, allegedly shot and killed three individuals, leaving the community in a state of grief and shock.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024, at Tepa-Baniekrom, a farming community in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region.

According to police reports, the victims had previously attacked the fetish priest on multiple occasions, but he appeared to be unharmed.

In a surprising turn of events, the priest retaliated with deadly force, killing the three individuals.

The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the incident and is currently searching for the suspect, who remains at large.

A police team visited the scene, recovered the bodies, and conveyed them to the morgue for autopsy and preservation.

The police statement revealed that the suspect claimed the victims were part of a group that attacked him, but the circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear.

The community is in shock, and the police are working tirelessly to apprehend the suspect and uncover the truth behind this gruesome incident.
