Fans applaud Black Sherif’s bold stance against galamsey at Tidal Rave 2024

The 2024 edition of Tidal Rave took place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the La Palm Beach Hotel in Accra.

Many A-list musicians such as R2Bees, Kwesi Arthur, KiDi, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and others performed at the event.

During his performance, Black Sherif took a break to show a documentary he had made about illegal mining (galamsey) and its negative effects.

At the end of the documentary, the “Soja” hitmaker encouraged fans to sing the local version of the national anthem.

At the same event, Dancehall musician Stonebwoy also delivered a powerful performance when he began to perform one of his most anticipated songs, “Greedy Men”.
