Prof. Opoku-Agyemang has three children namely Kweku Opoku-Agyemang, Kwabena Opoku-Agyemang, and Maame Adwoa Opoku-Agyemang.

Kweku Opoku-Agyemang
Dr. Kweku Opoku-Agyemang is the eldest son of Prof. Opoku-Agyemang. He is an economist and computer scientist based in Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Opoku-Agyemang is the founder and CEO of Development Economics X, a company that creates economic and social solutions, using the best research methods, data analyses, and innovations to design and evaluate high-impact interventions.
He is also the Founder and CEO of Machine Learning X, a consulting firm that works with governments, including those of Pakistan, Canada, and the UK, as well as numerous universities. Additionally, he serves as an honorary research affiliate at the International Growth Centre.
Kweku is a former honorary research fellow with the Algorithmic Fairness and Opacity Group and the Center for Effective Global Action, both at the University of California, Berkeley.
He holds a doctorate in Development Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.A. in Economics from Ohio University, and a B.A. in Economics with Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana.
Kwabena Opoku-Agyemang
Dr. Kwabena Opoku-Agyemang is the academic director of the School for International Training Ghana and a senior lecturer at the University of Ghana, Legon.
He has an undergraduate degree, 2 master’s degrees, and a PhD, all in English.
He holds a PhD in English literature from West Virginia University, where he also taught undergraduate courses in the Department of English.
Maame Adwoa Opoku-Agyemang
Dr. Maame Adwoa Opoku-Agyemang is the youngest of the three children of Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
She is a graduate of various educational institutions including the University of Ghana, the University of Cape Coast, Sorbonne University, and the University of Toronto in Canada.
She was a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University and the 2020–21 Du Bois-Mandela-Rodney Fellow at the University of Michigan.
Maame Adwoa holds a master’s from the Paris-Sorbonne Université and an MA from the University of Cape Coast and is the author of Typologies of Humor in African Literatures.
