Extraordinary: Accra waste park outdoored [PHOTOS]

 

It will be recalled that the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, on the 24th of April,2017 pledged to make Accra the cleanest city in Africa by the end of his first term of office.

 

Zoomlion Ghana Limited, the leading waste management company in Ghana, and it’s affiliate companies have been in the forefront of undertaking some of the services enumerated under government policy to provide a clean and healthy environment.

 

The Executive Chairman Of JOSPONG Group Of Companies Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong in his address assured the government that those in the Management business, under the banner of the Environmental Service Providers Association (ESPA), “we have made significant contributions to Ghana’s Environmental Sanitation by complementing and supporting government’s effort at resolving environmental challenges in communities in Ghana”- Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong.

Indeed the past few years have seen the membership of ESPA, operating in over twelve clusters of waste industry sector groupings, working hard to play significant part in promoting environmental cleanliness.

 

“The JOSPONG Group Of Companies, which operates on the working philosophy that waste management is more than refuse collection and disposal, has planned to establish in all the sixteen (16) regions of Ghana, using state of the art technology, The Integrated Recycling And Compost Plant(IRCoP).

Some of the Accra Waste Recovery Facility includes: Multi-Purpose Waste Treatment & Material Recovery Facility, 1st of it’s kind in Ghana, Supporting The Cleanest City Agenda, Innovative Solution To The Managing Waste and Providing Job opportunities for citizens.

 

The assiduous and innovative Executive Chairman of JOSPONG Group Dr. Siaw Agyepong said his outfit will established in all the sixteen regions.

Hajia Alima Mahama, Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Ahomka Lindsay Deputy Minister for Trade And Industry, Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah, Deputy Minister for Works And Housing, National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, Nii Adote Otintor II, Sempe Mantse, Member of parliament for Odododiodioo Hon.
