“Enough is Enough,No more excuses” – Unpaid NABCO threatens government

 

Trainees of the government flagship program, Nations Builders Corps , NABCo nationwide have threatened not to entertain the excuses from the executives of the program as far as their payment is concern,hence have scheduled 9th April ,2019 to stage massive demonstration against the government over their unpaid stipends.

 

In a press statement, the over 96,000 successful have trainees have raised several concerns about the program, including,

 

1)Delay of payment of stipends ,which according to them has prevented the trainees from saving for their future.

 

2) Education on time sheet, whereby, some recalcitrant coordinators have find some dubious means to deduct/hold trainees stipends without any justification.

 

3) Unlawful treatment of trainees by coordinators and the entire executives,moreover,these and many other relevant points are bordering the minds of the trainees ,therefore, calling on the President to take immediate step to ensure their grievances are been addressed .

 

In addition, the aggrieved trainees are calling on the Chief Executive Officer , Dr. Ibrahim Anyars to call book coordinators who want to tarnish the image of the program.

 

“We want tolerate these hardships again, the Nabco is indeed loosing it focus,the most painful aspect is that we can’t save due to the nature of payment, some coordinators have also adopted dubious means to hold trainees stipends without any offences ,after all there is no education on the time sheet, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars must sit and tackle these issues for us”, they narrated.

 

In conclusion ,the trainees emphasized “politicians are using vulnerable unemployed graduates to score political points and abandon them to suffer, we won’t allow ourselves to be used by politicians again we are going to stage massive demonstration to register our displeasure to the government if they fail to listen to our plea”.
