Enough Is Enough Demo: Policewoman rushed to hospital after teargas firing in Ashanti Region

A policewoman was rushed to the hospital following the firing of teargas at the Ashanti Regional EC office.

The policewoman was seen coughing and vomiting at some point following the teargas and was initially put on a motorbike guarded by some other male police officers.

She was subsequently rushed into a police car, which speedily moved to a facility for her treatment.

The NDC protest in the Ashanti Region became chaotic after the supporters of the party were initially denied access to the EC premises by the police.
