Electrifying reception for Bawumia in Denkyira on day one of Central Regional tour

After his highly successful tour of the Greater Accra Region, Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has stormed the Central Region to continue his tour.

The Central Region, considered a battleground, has voted for the NPP in the last two presidential elections, and Bawumia is seeking to maintain the status quo with his energetic grassroots campaign.

Evidence of Dr. Bawumia maintaining the status quo was fully evident today in the Twifo Ati Morkwa Constituency and Hemang Lower Denkyira, the first two constituencies he toured in the Central Region.

At Twifo Praso Market, where Dr. Bawumia had his first grassroots meet and greet after engaging community stakeholders, he was accorded an affectionate reception by the traders, who freely engaged him with chants of his popular “It is possible” slogan.

In Jukwa, in the Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency, Bawumia set the community agog with a mammoth crowd welcoming him.

The enthusiastic crowd waited in ecstasy for so long, and when the Vice President eventually arrived, the crowd went wild and cheered him and the Parliamentary Candidate, Lawrence Kwabena Agyinsam, throughout their speeches.
