Elections 2020: Akontombra Constituency Is A No-Go Area For NDC – Nana Ampem Darko

The 1st Vice Chairman of NPP-USA Columbus Chapter and a member of the NPP Western North Regional Campaign Team has declared Akontombra as a No-Go area for the NDC for the upcoming geneal elections.

In an interview on Uniik FM, Nana Ampem Darko emphasized the certainty of the victory that awaits the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Akontombra Constituency.

However, he added that, although all indications are pointing to victory, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will not be too complacent. This he said, was his motivation for resourcing the party with the nine (9) motorbikes, one thousand t-shirts and other essential logistics to facilitate the operations of the party in the various constituencies.

Speaking on Uniik FM in Sefwi Wiawso, Nana Ampem Darko emphasized his strong belief in the significant role party visibility as a means of campaigning, drawing analogies from the field of marketing. He added that, just as well established companies do not cease advertising, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will not be relentless on portraying its achievements and blowing loud the gospel of H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

When asked of the response of the constituents, Nana Ampem Darko disclosed that, the good people of the Western North region have embraced the goodwill message of the NPP government and that the party will continue to work tirelessly to appreciate the President by giving him four more years to do more.

He also made a Clarion call to the teeming youths of the party to take up the campaign baton and go into the hinterlands and to all places with the Four More For Nana (4M4N) message as ensure that no stone is left unturn. Nana Ampem Darko emphasized the essence of what he describes as the C-P-R approach, explaining that, between now and December 7, key considerations will be given to Commitment, Preparedness and the needed Results.

When asked of the touting from the camp of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that the three parliamentary seats currently occupied by the NPP was only lent to them, Nana Ampem Darko, said, the NDC is free to talk and that, they are only exercising their democratic rights. He further added, that even in opposition, the good people of Western North believed in the NPP to have given out three parliamentary seats. “The people will add the remaining six constituencies,” he added.
