Dr Bawumia spotlights NPP’s landmark achievements in education, healthcare, and energy

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has highlighted key achievements of the NPP government, focusing on its ability to implement transformative policies like the Free Senior High School (SHS) initiative, the restoration of teacher and nursing trainee allowances, and the prevention of fuel shortages.

Addressing chiefs and stakeholders at Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem constituency, on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, he emphasized the positive impact of the NPP government across various sectors of the Ghanaian society.

Among the notable achievements he mentioned, were the implementation of free technical and vocational education to equip citizens with practical skills, the revitalization of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), and the inclusion of coverage for childhood cancer, sickle cell patients, and kidney dialysis under the NHIS.

He also reaffirmed the party’s commitment to addressing challenges in healthcare, education, and energy, presenting these accomplishments as a reflection of the NPP’s dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians.
