PHOTOS: Pastor dies in fatal accident at Cape Coast

Road traffic fatalities in Ghana refuse to go away as a pastor of the Life Cathedral Church at Brewu, Cape Coast in the Central Region has lost his life.

Rev. Pastor Abeka Quainoo, 50 met his untimely death at Adansi Fomena when the sprinter vehicle with registration number, AC 474-17 he was travelling in from Assin Fosu to Kumasi was hit at the rear by a Sanyong minibus with no AC 299-18.

According to the police, the accident forced the two vehicles into a ditch, killing the pastor and injuring many others.

The Adansi Fomena District Police Commander, Supt. Fii Ochil, who confirmed the accident to Adom News correspondent Isaac Normanyo said the Pastor died instantly.

He also added that the injured were rushed to Benito Mini Hospital at Dompoase and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
