Don’t play with fire! – KK Fosu responds to critics over ‘no-show’ at John Claude’s funeral

Ghanaian Highlife artiste KK Fosu has responded to bloggers and critics over his failure to appear at the recently held funeral of blogger John Claude, who passed away in an accident in May 2024.

It could be recalled that KK Fosu and his colleague Bless were involved in a tragic car crash on the Accra-Apam highway on May 25, 2024. KK Fosu and Bless sustained serious injuries, including broken legs.

Unfortunately, John Claude, who was also Bless’s videographer, died instantly.

However, following John Claude’s burial on July 19, 2024, social media users and some industry stakeholders, including Elorm Beenie and Eric Toscar, condemned KK Fosu and Bless for not attending John Claude’s final funeral rites or the one-week commemoration.

They were also critiqued over their absence and lack of communication with the bereaved family.

However, this did not go down well with KK Fosu, who, in a Facebook post on July 22, 2024, expressed his frustration with the criticisms, stating, “Elorm Beenie, you and your guys are very funny to play with my name. Go to Apam police station and fight for justice for our brother Claude. The one who hit us with his car is walking freely, my boy. Don’t play with fire; it will burn you,” he said.
