Donald Trump adopts Nigerian politicians campaign style, learns to make McDonald’s fries in Pennsylvania

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has recently adopted a campaign strategy commonly used by Nigerian politicians.

Nigerian politicians vying for public office often engage in door-to-door campaigns, showing care for the masses before moving on.

Some even go as far as to assist them in their daily activities and strike up conversations to persuade them to vote for them.

During his ongoing 2024 campaign, Trump visited a McDonald’s in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, to interact with customers and employees and learn how to make fries.

He joined McDonald’s staff in interacting with locals, stood by the fryer and casually asked for tips on perfecting the fry-making process.

In a video circulating on social media, Trump mentioned plans to attend a Pittsburgh Steelers game later that day.

Dressed in a McDonald’s apron over his usual white shirt and red tie, the former president was seen handing out food to drive-thru customers and engaging in conversations as he served the popular fast-food items.

During his visit, Trump also took a swipe at Vice President Kamala Harris stating, “I’ve now worked 15 minutes longer at the restaurant than the VP,” in reference to Harris’ previous claim of working at McDonald’s, which Trump called untrue, labelling her “Lying Kamala.”
