Disregard tribal comments allegedly coming from Ashanti regional Minister – Hon. Osei Mensah

I listened with heavy heart a tape circulating both traditional and social media which is purported to have come from Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti regional minister. The said tape cast aspersions not only to the integrity of Northerners and Muslims but also to our political ethics.
As someone who had worked closely with Hon. Simon Osei Mensah for quite some time, I can indubitably vouch for his candor, calmness indiscrimination and ‘welcoming’ personality
It therefore beats my imagination of how the tape in question is said to have emanated from this ‘gentle politician’ who have lived almost the whole of his life with Muslims, northerners and Zongo inhabitants. Anyone who knows him will confirm that even before he(Simon) became a politician, some of his closest friends were from the north, mentioned can be made to Dorsah, Lansah, Chini and the likes who were his childhood friends and school mates, again, his personal assistant in the person of Abdul Razak is also a Muslim, such a person cannot be  associated with ethnocentric prejudice.
I’m thus, force to believe that the said tape is not different from the usual doctored tapes which normally come from the NDC just to Infelicitously paint the NPP anti-Muslims/Northers especially when there is increase rejection of the NDC’s propaganda lies and deceit in such communities.
I will advice Joshua Akamba that if defeat awaits him in the incoming congress NDC Congress, this shear propaganda won’t save him. He should rather channeled his energy to campaign as he is gearing to step in the shoes of Kofi Adams.
Let me therefore take this opportunity to advice him and his NDC that propaganda, lies and deceits do not win elections. Ghanaians are discerning. The  people of Zongo and Northerners are happy with the many developmental projects and policies implemented by the Akufo Addo-led government.
I end as I start, disregard this shear propaganda.
