AUDIO: My new Ghana has no space for conflict, ‘unnecessary’ violence – Akufo-Addo

“The New Ghana I want to build has no space for conflict and unnecessary violence and I hope to see conflicts cease in this new North East Region to enable development take place,” President Akufo Addo has said to the people of Chereponi.

The president was speaking to the people of Chereponi during his tour of the newly-created North East region where he asked the people to open their doors to eternal peace to ensure it comes to stay with them.

“I am hoping to see the current peace in Dagbon reign across the country because there are a lot of opportunities in Ghana which need to be harnessed but cannot be done in the midst of conflicts,” he stated.

The North East region forms part of the six new regions that were created through a referendum on December 27, 2018 in Ghana with Nalerigu as the capital.
