Dino Melaye slammed for asking for forgiveness for leaders after classroom collapsed on kids

Senator Dino Melaye has received backlashes from Nigerians after he prayed for forgiveness for leaders after a video emerged of some children trapped beneath a collapsed classroom.

The collapsed classroom was built with wood and mud and had a weak foundation.

Expressing his dismay at the incident, Melaye prayed for forgiveness for Nigerian leaders and elites. Adding that what happened is unimaginable, unacceptable and unpardonable.

He wrote on his x page, on Thursday March 14, 2024; “May God forgive us leaders and elites. This is unimaginable, unacceptable, and unpardonable. SDM”
