Decomposing Body Found On Farm at Ayensuano

The decomposing body of a farmer has been found at Yaa Junction a remote farming village near Anum Apapam in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region.

The late Kwasi Odame went to his farming village where he used to spend days to distil the local gin (Akpeteshie) but this time around he did not return as expected therefore a friend to the deceased curiously went to the village to search for him only to see his decomposing body lying on the ground.

The friend rushed back to Anum Apapam Community to inform the family and elders of the community around 5:30 pm on May 25, 2020, but unfortunately, it was raining heavily in the area, therefore, on the next day, the local Police joined by Officials of National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), and some residents moved to the village.

After police had taken records of the crime scene, they conducted an immediate burial of the decomposing body.

The cause of death is still not known and under investigation by CID.
