Grammy-nominated singer Davido has joined other prominent Nigerians who have congratulated Ghana’s President-elect, John Mahama.
Davido, who recently met Sharaf Mahama during his visit to Ghana, took to his X to celebrate his father’s victory.
He shared a photo of himself holding a “John Mahama Victory 2024” branded coffee cup while tagging Mahama’s.
The NDC flagbearer is set to return to the presidency after losing the 2016 and 2020 elections.
The Electoral Commission is yet to announce the official results of the polls, however, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party conceded defeat at a press conference on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
The move by the Vice president sparked excitement among netizens and high-profile on social media.
