Davido, Burna Boy, Olamide, Asake, Tems make Obama’s favourite music of 2023

Obama, every year shares his favourite music, movies, books that he enjoyed all through the year on his various social media platforms.

This year, Obama’s music list featured Afrobeat stars Davido, Burna Boy and Tems, Asake and Olamide.

The songs include; Davido’s ‘Unavailable’, ‘Me & U’ by Tems, ‘Sitting’ on Top of the World’ by Burna Boy and 21 Savage, ‘Amapiano’ by Asake and Olamide.

Recall that in 2022, three Nigerian singers were featured on Obama’s list.

Obama, in a caption of the post he shared, wrote:

“Here are some of my favorite songs from this year. Let me know if there are any artists or songs I should check out”.

Nigerian singer, Davido took to Obama’s comment section to react to his song ‘Unavailable’ making the former President’s list.

He posted an emoji of timeless which is the name of his album and an emoji of gratitude.
