Man 58, son 22 drown after canoe capsizes on River Offin

Fifty-Eight (58) year old man and his Twenty-two-year old son have lost their lives at Nerebehi in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal of the Ashanti Region after a canoe capsized on River Offin.

The deceased have been identified as Mr. Adama and Yussif Adama.

NPP Youth Organizer Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency Jude Thaddeus Opoku Takyi who confirmed the unfortunate incident to MyNewsGh.com Ashanti Regional correspondent said the deceased persons were going to farm when the boat capsized by a heavy storm.

According to Thaddeus, one person was rescued.
