Commotion at Edo House of Assembly as 2Baba is spotted amid rumoured lawmaker relationship

There is commotion at the Edo State House of Assembly as singer 2Baba Idibia is spotted sitting in the gallery.

In a video making the rounds, several Nigerians rushed to take pictures with the ‘African Queen’ singer.

This video comes amid speculation that the singer was in a relationship with a lawmaker following the news of his divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia.

Recall that 2Baba took to his social media page to announce that he and Annie had been separated for some time and had filed for divorce.

His announcement sparked massive reactions as many criticised him for the timing of the divorce announcement, especially when Annie faced backlash after clips from her Famous and African series surfaced online.

Shortly after, a post on 2Baba’s page stated that his earlier post about his divorce was not true and that the singer’s account had been hacked.

However, 2Baba released a video of himself insisting that the announcement was true and that no one hacked his account.

Shortly after, 2Baba deleted the posts amid backlash. It was also revealed that he was in a relationship with an honourable member.

As videos of his presence at the Edo plenary surfaced, some Nigerians claimed that this confirmed his relationship with the lawmaker.
