‘Come take a stroll in Lagos’ – Nigerians react to video of Buhari walking calmly in his hometown

Some residents who were present on the street at the time of the former president’s walk looked excited with smiles all over their faces.

Both children, women and men were seen with their cameras as they try to get a glimpse of Buhari.

Reacting to the video, netizens took to Twitter to share their thoughts. While some hailed him, others asked him to try taking a walk in other areas aside his hometown.

@Ramdan_figo:Hmmm, life is nothing but vanity!!! Imagine Buhari being guided by just 2 security now. This time early this year if he were to come to this same place everywhere would be secured by nothing less than 200 fully security guards. Any post u are today remember it’s not forever

Ara couture: Make him come Lagos na

Ibrahim Adamu: Nothing is as beautiful as when you are at peace with you people and they to r at peace with you . Such a beautiful gesture

@HarunaBraimoh1: Absolutely at peace with himself and his maker!! A man a shall love forever

UptownOfLagos: See poverty littered all around him. The North needs urgent intervention of a true leader passionate and committed to pull down poverty and push in strong efforts in educating as much northern children as possible.
