CK Akonnor visited me at home before his appointment – Kwesi Appiah

The former Black Stars coach revealed that CK Akonnor came to his premises for discussions before his appointment.

Kwesi Appiah enjoyed a brief working relationship together in the national team.

The former Al Khartoum coach appointed CK Akonnor, now Black Stars coach as his assistant before the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations matches against South Africa and Sao Tome.

“He came home to have a conversation with me and I think it’s a very good thing,” he told Fox 97.9 FM.

“Some of us will provide him with any support or advice he needs because Black Stars is not for only one person”.

CK Akonnor will now lead the team for the rest of the AFCON qualifiers which will be played later this year.
