Asante Kotoko coach CK Akonnor has made two changes to his starting line-up to face Sudanese side Al Hilal Omdurman in their CAF Confederation Cup Group C match at the Baba Yara Stadium this afternoon.
The ex-Ghana captain has retained experienced center back Abdul Wahab Adams after a good game against Nkana FC last weekend, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu returns to the line up in the heart of defense to replace injured Abdul Ganiyu after he missed last weekend’s game.
Captain Amos Frimpong returns from suspension to occupy the right-back position whiles regular Augustine Sefah claims a position on the bench and Daniel Darkwah who recently made a return from injury and put up a stellar performance against Nkana FC maintains his place at the left back role.
Martin Antwi will be operating from the left rank again with Maxwell Baakoh out of the game due to an injury and at the opposite side will be Emmanuel Gyamfi who passed a late fitness test.
The central midfield remains compact with Umar Bashir and Kwame Bonsu.
The frontline remains the same with Yacouba Songne and Abdul Fatawu Safiu.
