Arsenal and Chelsea fans clash over Kai Havertz’s celebration

Kai Havertz’s decision to celebrate his goals against Chelsea in their 5-0 defeat to Arsenal on Tuesday, April 23, 2023, has led to heated debates among fans of the two clubs on social media.

Havertz scored a brace in the game that ended in a 5-0 mauling of Chelsea who suffered their heaviest defeat at the hands of their London rivals.

A section of Chelsea fans were upset by Havertz’s decision and took to social media to accuse the German midfielder of disrespecting the club he once played for.

Arsenal fans, on the other hand, justified Havertz’s decision on the premise that he was bullied and forced out by Chelsea and therefore owes them no loyalty or respect.

Arsenal, following the win, have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table. They have 77 points, while Liverpool sit second with 74 points. Manchester City are third with 73 points.

Liverpool has a game in hand while Manchester City have two games in hand.
