Church elder found dead after ‘bonking’ church member

The New Juaben Municipal Police command is investigating the circumstances which led to the unnatural death of a 60-year-old Treasurer of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Ascension Congregation, Koforidua, at a Guest House in Nkrukan.

The deceased, identified as William Osae-Ansah reportedly checked in to the Guest House known as “Su Su Sei Me Guest House” with a 40-year-old Woman also a member of the Church, at about 9:25 am but after some minutes of sexual intercourse, the woman rushed to the reception of the guest house her partner was unresponsive.

He was found dead in his nakedness when the workers rushed to the room. The Police were informed and a crime scene investigation team were quickly dispatched to the scene but did not detect any mark of violence.

The body was conveyed to the Eastern Regional Hospital, Koforidua for preservation at the morgue pending post-morterm examination.

The Woman with whom the deceased lodged took to her heels and boarded a vehicle to an unknown destination but has been arrested by the Police to assist in the investigation.

Kasapa News has gathered that the deceased had with him some unspecified amount of money belonging to the Church which was retrieved by the Police.
