Chief Issah Mussah Inducted into Akyem Abuakwa Counci of Zongo chiefs

The president of the Buzuu tribe in the Eastern Region, Chief Issah Musah has been gazzeted and inducted into the Akyem Abuakwa Council of Zongo Chiefs.
The inducement of Sariki Buzuu of Eastern Region, Chief Issah Mussah was under the authorization of the president of Akyem Abuakwa Council of Zongo chiefs, Alhaji Abubakar Omar.
The new chief were out doored and accepted into the council in Kyebi during the Akyem Abuakwa Council of Zongo Chief’s second quarter meeting.
The Buzuu president is a native of Akyem Tafo in the Abuakwa North of the Eastern Region.
Speaking to a journalist, Kaakyire Kwasi Afari in a sideline, the Buzuu Chief pledged to extend a hand of reconciliation and unity to all the Buzuu tribe chiefs and play a fatherly role in the discharge of his duties to facilitate development in unity.
He told Kaakyire Kwasi Afari that, he was aware of the responsibility placed on him as a young man, but knew he would succeed with the help and support of the chiefs, elders, queens and all citizenry of the traditional area.
Chief Issah Mussah, the Eastern Regional Sariki Buzuu urged the people to bury their differences and allow peace to prevail in the region.
The New chief urged all the tribal chiefs to respect one another in the spirit of peaceful coexistence and receive everyone with open arms while calling on those who came to the area to support the development of Zongo communities to live according to its tenets.
Chief Issah Mussah pledged to work relentlessly in accordance with the council’s principles to improve living standard of Muslims in his traditional enclave.
The Council meeting brought together Muslim Chiefs, Queen mothers and Imams from Akyem Abuakwa to discuss about welfare and challenges confronting Muslims and people’s living in Zongos and finally suggested solutions to help address the phenomenon.
