Checkout the colourful photos of Nana Konadu, the Rawlingses paying homage to Otumfuo

The Silver Jubilee durbar of the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II was a well-attended event at Manyhia in the heart of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

It had in attendance President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo leading a high-powered government delegation. Also present was Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.

There were politicians from across the political sphere, diplomats and many traditional leaders, the Otumfuo’s subjects and wellwishers also thronged Manhyia for the event.

Among the dignitaries was the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings accompanied by three of her four children.

Former President Jerry John Rawlings’ official Facebook handle on May 20, 2024, shared photos of Nana Konadu and the children’s attendance at the Adae Kese that took place on May 12, 2024.

“Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, Amina Agyeman-Rawlings and Kimathi Agyeman-Rawlings, alongside their mother, took turns to congratulate Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as he sat in state, while adding beauty and colour to an exceptionally resplendent ceremony,” the post was captioned in part.

Nana Konadu and the kids were spotted individually greeting the Otumfuo and also at a point exchanging pleasantries with President Akufo-Addo and other invited guests.
